FAQ

What is time and a half for $20 an hour?

$30 an hour. Multiply any wage by 1.5: $15 becomes $22.50, $25 becomes $37.50, $30 becomes $45. Enter your exact wage above for your number.

When does time and a half apply?

Federally, after 40 hours in a workweek for non-exempt employees. Many employers also pay it for holidays or weekends as a policy, even where the law doesn't require it.

How much is 8 hours of time and a half worth?
