AI Disclosure
Last updated: May 21, 2026
RevenueLab.fyi publishes calculators, guides, and benchmark explainers about revenue, monetization, pricing, and taxes. We want to be transparent about how those pages are produced — including where AI tools are used and where they are not.
Where we use AI
We may use AI tools (large language models, code assistants, summarizers) to help with:
- Drafting first passes of explanatory text and FAQs.
- Generating examples and walkthroughs for formulas.
- Suggesting structure for long-form guides.
- Translating jargon into plain English.
- Cross-checking arithmetic in example scenarios.
- Identifying related calculators and internal links.
Where we do not use AI
AI does not have final say over what gets published. Specifically:
- Calculator formulas are written and reviewed by humans. The math behind each tool is documented on its methodology section so you can verify it.
- Benchmark numbers (RPM ranges, CPM ranges, tax brackets, platform payout rates) are sourced from documentation, primary platform disclosures, or publicly cited industry reports — not invented by a model.
- Policy claims (eligibility rules, tax rules, platform terms) are checked against the official source before being published.
- Editorial opinions and recommendations are written by humans, not generated.
Our review process
Every page that goes live on RevenueLab is reviewed by a member of the editorial team. Reviewers check that:
- The formula matches what's described in the prose.
- Example numbers compute correctly.
- Cited platform rules reflect current documentation as of the page date.
- The page is genuinely useful to the audience it's written for.
- There are no fabricated quotes, statistics, or "facts" that can't be sourced.
When we update a page, we update the "Last updated" date at the top.
Why this matters
Revenue math is high-stakes. If a freelancer reads our hourly-rate guide and underprices themselves, or a creator overestimates ad revenue and quits their day job too early, the cost is real. We treat AI as a productivity tool, not as a substitute for understanding the topic. Anything we wouldn't be willing to defend in a conversation with a working professional in that field does not go on the site.
Estimates, not advice
Calculator outputs are educational estimates based on the inputs and assumptions you provide. They are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. See our disclaimer and editorial policy for the full scope.
