FAQ
Why factor in resale probability instead of assuming full resale?
Buyback prices swing with edition changes and demand; a new edition can drop resale value to near zero right before you sell. Discounting by probability gives a more honest expected cost than assuming a best case.
Does renting have hidden risks?
Yes — highlighting/writing beyond normal wear, late returns, and lost-book fees can turn a $45 rental into a $150+ charge. Buy if you know you write heavily in books.
Is buying better for multi-term use?
