FAQ

Why is the implied probability so low?

Probabilities multiply. Four coin-flip legs is a 6% ticket even though each leg feels close to even money.

Does this account for the book's vig?

It uses the posted odds, which already include the margin. The implied probability shown is therefore slightly above the true fair probability.

Accuracy and limitations

  • Results are rounded for display; the underlying calculation keeps full precision.
  • Very large or very small inputs may hit floating-point limits in the browser.
