About this calculator
Signing agents get paid per appointment but absorb driving, double-sided printing, and E&O insurance. This turns a per-signing fee into a realistic hourly and annual number.

FAQ
Why include printing at that cost?
Loan packages often run 100 to 200 pages and many require a second borrower copy. Laser toner, paper, and printer wear typically land in the 3 to 5 cent per page range.
What about E&O insurance and background checks?
Those are annual overhead rather than per-signing cost. Divide the yearly total by your signings and add it to the cost-per-page field if you want it baked in.
Accuracy and limitations
- Results are estimates before tax, fees, and inflation unless an input explicitly covers them.
- Rates are treated as fixed for the whole period — variable-rate products will drift from this projection.
- This is educational maths, not financial advice. Check anything contractual with the lender or your accountant.
