This calculator takes director/assistant director salary (loaded), the number of teachers they directly supervise, and center enrollment to compute management overhead cost per teacher and per enrolled child, so you can judge whether your management layer is appropriately sized for your center's scale. A center with one director for 40 staff has a much lower per-teacher management cost than a multi-site operator running an assistant director for every 8 teachers, and neither is automatically wrong — it depends on the complexity and quality outcomes that extra supervision buys, but the cost should be visible when deciding org structure.",
